Jane Asher 85 year old, mother of four and grandmother of 11; from Merton Park has dedicated the last 25 years of her life to swimming. Receiving at least 25 world records before the age of 80, she plans this year to accomplish 35 by the age of 85.
Some of her success comes from being a swimming coach for forty years. Her passion and dedication make her an inspiration for the community that usually cheers for her in competitions.
She also coaches at the King’s Cormorants Masters Swimming Club in Wimbledon, participates in community activities where she hopes more senior citizens and members of the community follow her example.
All of her accomplishments and dedication had her in the Swimming International Hall of Fame since the age of 75.
