Swimming is a form of exercise that has been around for ages. The best part about swimming is anyone can do it. Swimming has been used as a tool for cross training, fitness classes and helping recover from injuries. The only requirement is knowing how to swim.

Recent studies showed an unbelievable percentage of people do not actually know how to swim or have not spent a lot of time near the pool. Swimming is the perfect exercise for people who are trying to get back in shape. Swimming brings the perfect blend of cardio and muscle training.

Swimming is a very appealing activity due to its overall benefit and another huge reason being such a low risk for injury. Other exercises like running and lifting weights can lead to serious injuries, but with swimming you create your own resistance while the water is keeping you at a fraction of your weight on land.

    I have severe damage from my neck & all the way down my entire back ,that includes more than 4 different nerves pinched & smashed of at the neck and down my spine & ends up at just a little above my tailbone ,& this Area is all so intangled In between the vertebrae’s . ( And SWIMMING is the only kind of exercise or injoyment I can do!!!! Plus I love ( SWIMMING ) !!!! But I have no pool,I have to go to a lake or try to find a pool that is open & I’m able to use!
